Before we begin the healing journey, the counselling and psychotherapy process starts with an initial assessment to ensure that the client and therapist are able to work together. I want to be sure that I can help you, so I ask some questions to get to know you better and assess what kind of baggage you are bringing on the journey.

I use a range of methods to help you communicate what you are feeling, such as dialogue, art and bodywork to help you identify what hurts and where we should focus the healing. This can help to offload emotional baggage to make the journey easier.
Past experiences often give clients a map which may need to be updated in order to guide them on their life’s new path. Patterns in thoughts and behaviour can be enhanced through therapy to help clients live a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.
